Mark Mayer and Scott Comer started Residential Management Group in 2013. After they both excelled at careers in the home building industry, each made the transition into entrepreneurship. What started as meetings in a local sandwich shop, quickly transformed into a thriving business that has renovated over 1400 homes in the Indianapolis area. In addition, during this time, Mark and Scott have successfully started and currently operate additional complimentary businesses.
MARK MAYER - OWNER
Mark has over 25 years of residential construction and customer service experience. Before starting RMG, Mark was in a senior management role with one of the nation's largest home builders. During the majority of his career, his professional focus was primarily customer service and customer satisfaction. This experience, coupled with he adept knowledge of the building industry, makes Mark a leader in the Hoosier home improvement field. He is married to his wonderful wife, Jill, and together, they have two kids and love spending quality time with the family. Mark is a dedicated husband, father, and Indiana business owner.
SCOTT COMER - OWNER
Scott is a professional contractor who has over 25 years of residential construction experience. Prior to the inception of Residential Management Group, Scott was in a senior management role with one of Indiana’s most prestigious home builders. Throughout his career, he excelled in serving various occupational roles, including sales management, construction, service, and operations. Scott is a devoted father to his 3 beautiful children. Scott is actively involved in his church, a proud member of his community, and strongly believes in old fashioned family values of integrity, hard work, and respect.
KEN REINHART - ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Ken was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, as well as IU Continuing Education in Indianapolis. He has over 30 years of experience in small business accounting, finance, and administration, for both sales and service-type organizations, primarily in construction-related industries. He is a leading accountant professional with extensive managerial experience. Ken and his lovely wife Teri have been married for over 40 years. They have 4 grown children and 10 wonderful grandchildren.
CHRIS WESTRUM - PROJECT COORDINATOR
Chris has an accounting degree from Taylor University. She has lived in Fishers for over 14 years as a proud Hoosier. Her and her husband Scott have been married for over 25 years and have 3 wonderful kids who continue to amaze them every day. Chris loves spending time with her family and volunteering for different local organizations. She is devoted mother, wife, and philanthropist, as well as an invaluable team member at Residential Management Group.
ZACH KROUSE - INTERNAL OPERATIONS
Zack has been working in residential construction and customer service for over 10 years. During that time he has gained valuable skills and experiences that are perfectly suited for the field of work in our current market. He is motivated by a strong work ethic and dedication to the craft of home renovations. His hands-on skills and abilities have immensely helped our company grow and branch out into new areas. He and his loving wife Grace enjoy spending their spare time with their extended families and enjoying nature in various ways such as camping, hiking, kayaking and sitting by the fire.
JASON BECHTEL - PROJECT MANAGER
Jason started with Residential Management Group in 2021 and comes with 25+ yrs of home building experience. Jason is a talented carpenter who spent over 10 years building homes and has extensive knowledge of residential construction. After a 5 year hiatus from construction, where he was managing ski shops in Colorado, Jason returned to Indiana to become the General Manager of Customer Service for a national home builder. During the market downturn of 2008, Jason started his own contracting company where he eventually started rehabbing houses for RMG in 2013. The relationship continued to flourish and eventually Jason ended up coming to work for RMG full time. He has been a welcomed addition to the RMG team.
WILL COMER - PROJECT MANAGER
Will has been with Residential Management Group since May of 2022. A graduate of Fishers High School, Will excelled as a part time employee and has moved to full time as an Assistant Project Manager in our multi-family operations. He hopes to continue to move up within RMG and acquire more responsibilities to expand his experience and knowledge in the single and multi family project management discipline.
JJ MOORE - PROJECT MANAGER
JJ joined the Residential Management Group team in 2025, bringing 19 years of experience in the residential remodeling and handyman industry. JJ is a talented craftsman with the experience to help design and complete customer's dream projects. His career has included a key account manager position in the IT field before embarking on his own remodeling business. JJ enjoys spending time with family and friends and being involved in his community. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys fishing in his free time.

My experience of RMG, is one of a professional detail-oriented construction company. Both myself and my customers love working with them! I have personally had RMG tackle several projects; from full scale remodels to small repair projects. RMG has always delivered in a timely manner with attention to detail. My wife and I live in New Jersey and started buying rental properties in Indianapolis in 2017. I have worked with RMG on multiple full-house rehab and renovation projections over the past few years. I have been continually impressed with their efficiency and timing. I can trust completion schedules stated when a job starts, which is of high value to me. RMG is my first call when I have a new project in the works.
I’ve read a lot of Mission Statements and sets of Core Values. However, I haven’t seen too many companies that consistently walk the walk and reflect respect, honesty and integrity as well as RMG does. This isn’t only visible in their leadership, but extends all the way out to the sub-contractors they use to represent their business. While a healthy balance sheet is always important, it is very refreshing to work with a company that puts relationships and doing the right thing first.
RMG have been a great resource for getting our property "market ready". They were able to complete a full rehab of our property in about 4 weeks...which is considerably faster than other rehabs that I've been involved with. My only regret is not knowing about them sooner.
